what is the biggest obstacle standing between you and your dream holistic-business?
Shari Goates: Clients
Marisa Banks: getting more clients. I have the space and supplies, I have a hard time getting clients.
Rochelle McFarlane: MYSELF
Kathleen Finigan: Health issues
Kate Young: 100% as above^^ Where are the people?? No clients = no dream holistic business
Barbara Kissee: Me!
Aria Tribe: Consistent and lasting enough results after working on clients
Lucida Crouch: Clients consistently coming through door. When they come there are results and they refer others but. . .
I asked the question on Facebook for this issue of the magazine; what is the biggest obstacle standing between you and your dream holistic-business?
I was expecting to see a variety of answers. After all, when I pose questions like this when teaching GEMS Business, I usually hear about few different issues: trouble asking for money, legalities of setting up a business, the tech paralysis that can be experienced when you think you need to create an instant and ubiquitous social media presence, explaining the weirdness of Specialized Kinesiology in a way that makes sense, and, of course, how to attract repeat clients. It was a little bit surprizing for me to post this question and have the only responses be around the issue of finding clients. Obviously this is a bigger issue that I had anticipated!
So I thought that I would offer a few ideas for you here. Things that I have found to be helpful in finding clients; not just people who are interested in checking out who you are and what you do, but making the connections that will turn people into your biggest fans and cheerleaders.
